Seasonal Cookbook Club
Saturday, November 9th, 6-10
Last fall we were introduced to cookbook club in Bon Appétit, and we immediately fell in love with the concept. As you probably know, gathering with people over food is one of our favorite things, and we have been dreaming up ways to make the idea come to life in our community.
Please join us as we gather for our fall cookbook club! We’ll be cooking from the new cookbook by Alison Roman “Nothing Fancy.”
“It’s not entertaining, it’s having people over. An unexpected weeknight meal with a neighbor or a weekend dinner party with fifteen of your closest friends—either way and everywhere in between, it’s unfussy food paired with unstuffy vibes.”
Here's how it's going to work:
Our meal will be vegetarian, just to keep things simple.
Pick up a copy of the book - we're partnering with local shop Home Ec to offer you the book at 15% off list price. We know it can be more convenient to buy online, but please consider supporting small shops whenever possible!
Peruse the book and pick a recipe, ideally something with lots of fresh seasonal ingredients. Of course we encourage you to cook from the book as much as you can over the coming weeks, as that will make our discussion that much richer.
Please bring your prepared food in a simple white serving dish, along with any necessary servingware. We'll set the table and provide drinks. We'll discuss the book - what we cooked, what we loved, and enjoy an intimate meal together.
This event will be held in a private home. Seats are limited!
If you have any food restrictions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
